Is there somebody there? Well, if you are still there thank you. These...weird months I have been training a skill that I started building years ago and left it because I haven´t the tools, in fact the hardware and software tools. Of course I´m talking about digital sculpt.</p><p>Thanks to 3dbuzz (they uploaded for free their digital lessons, but sadly because was closing its netschool) I spent a whole month learning the basics of working with Zbrush. But after that month and some time more I was able to make this:</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://i.imgur.com/K6jX7Qh.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="485" data-original-width="800" src="https://i.imgur.com/K6jX7Qh.png" /></a></div><br /><p>Not a bad begining, not at all. Still a lot to learn if I wanted to make 28 mm miniatures (the most critized thing is that the model looks like thought for a 54 mm model) so a lot to still learn. While was making things for fun and for another projects:</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://i.imgur.com/pfGqShJ.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="450" src="https://i.imgur.com/pfGqShJ.jpg" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://i.imgur.com/unhpFUU.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; I thought I have been updating the blog all these months!! That´s the reason I didn´t want to make an Instagram acount, because I knew I would leave the blog at the side...my apologies!<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I would update these models in three diferents threads, but I will show them all, because I have to correct my omission. This comission/project is almost finished and there are only 5 models left, but today I bring you again a bunch of terminators.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
First of all, the Lord of Contagion from the Conquest box. I must say that when I saw this new and bigger cataphracti terminator I was really happy thinking that GW was really planing to upscale and diversify the terminators models, sadly, when the new Chaos Terminator Box was released they were still standard terminatos, but well, there could be still more new boxes in the future.</div>
<div>
The first idea when I saw the model is that the base would be a bit diferent from the rest of the army, and as big as it is, I could tell a (funny) history with it. I could imagine the Lord of Contagion walking for a battleground that is slowly becoming a swamp or a mucus pool by the power of Nurgle, so the Nurglins try to avoid their overlord get stuck in it, working as step point. Also I use the flies from the Deathshorud box, I think they give the base an even more "swamp look"</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/f0GZsnc.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/f0GZsnc.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/3NY5Rnw.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/3NY5Rnw.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/59ZYtsI.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/59ZYtsI.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<span style="background-color: #fefefd; color: #81562e; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12.48px;">Lord Felthius, another Lord of Contagion, but is curious how the box this time bring 40 mm bases for all the models, so the first thing was to change it by a 50 mm base. Again a big base needs a history, but I won´t repeat the mucus/swamp thing. This model is walking leaving behind the rusted wreckage and corrupted ground.</span></div>
<div>
<span style="background-color: #fefefd; color: #81562e; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12.48px;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/YTwJsVW.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/YTwJsVW.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div>
<span style="background-color: #fefefd; color: #81562e; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12.48px;"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="background-color: #fefefd; color: #81562e; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12.48px;">The colour scheme is the same that the Lord of Contagion, but the technic is a bit diferent, I tried to use the dabbing technique in the cloak, just to see how diferent it would look</span></div>
<div>
<span style="background-color: #fefefd; color: #81562e; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12.48px;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div>
<span style="background-color: #fefefd; color: #81562e; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12.48px;"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="background-color: #fefefd; color: #81562e; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12.48px;">This model has a weird face, I can´t argue against it, but is suitable with Nurgle background, always happy, always enjoying what you do...and also, I love to paint faces</span></div>
<div>
<span style="background-color: #fefefd; color: #81562e; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12.48px;"><br /></span></div>

<div>
<span style="background-color: #fefefd; color: #81562e; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12.48px;"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="background-color: #fefefd; color: #81562e; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12.48px;">And finally, the bodyguards-nonbodyguards, I made them subtle changes, just to use all the bits left from the Blighlords box and give them bubonica axes.</span></div>

These last months I have been busy sculpting (I was in fact making the asignaments to get a place in GW´s Trainee Sculptors Program) and have been working as well as going to course in the evenings, so I had almost no time to the hobby (the weekends? Ah yes...the Xbox and Red Dead Redemption 2 is guilty in this detail). But well, now I have to show you all the critters that infested the <i>New Dawn, </i>a curious bunch of models with a lot of diferent paintjobs.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/WqZKAwT.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/WqZKAwT.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
* Cursemites: First I thought to paint them in a more realistic colour, some kind of brown or dark red colour, but finally I choose very alike to GW´s, but a more blueish black. Also I saw in internet that if you paint the mouth tentacles in a bright red, the models look amazing, so I stole the idea.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/iQQvK0f.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/iQQvK0f.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
* Sludge-grubs: As more "meatish" I choose a colour scheme such the poxzombies but ironically in more healthy tones. Are very curious models, with a special charm, but all that drooling don´t allow an easy painting.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/VefWHz3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/VefWHz3.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
* Glitchings: As nurglins cousin, I painted them in pinky and green tones, the only silly details was painting the hair in electric blue, to show they are electric failures made manifest.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/k1y1bTe.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/k1y1bTe.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
* Eyestinger Swarms: Giant evil flies! I painted as the cursemites to hold a coherency but also because in Madrid in summer we had a problem with some kind of small black flies that bite as rabid dogs, so I thought of these as a giant version, so the corpse has been recent and viciously eaten and are looking for the next victim.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/bKN0X8w.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/bKN0X8w.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
So, let´s go back to the Death Guard and finish the last models.<br />
<br />
And also, have you all a happy new year!!<br />

<span style="background-color: #f8f9fa; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; white-space: pre-wrap;">My girlfriend and me talked a lot about the look they have of being minis reused from other projects that never got ahead, especially that one of the tentacles and all the sea elements that it has and that sincerely, in a spaceship there are a little pout of place...
* The Butcher or leader of the unit, with this mini I considered many things when painting his clothes, in the end I decided that they were remains of his work suit, so the white top like every good cooker, and the bottom as if it were what is left of his killer apron:</span><br />

I must say that being so simple, I think is the mini whose looks told you the better background than all the 3 monsters:</span></span><br />

But well, I think you are here to see more models, not my excuses.<br />
<br />
This time I painted a good bunch of models, because all Nurgle army needs a lot of...zombies! Yes, poxwalkers (from Dark Imperium and First Strike) and Gellerpox zombies, 29 models ready to eat the brains of their enemies or spread Nurgle´s gifts to those that can flee.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/lr4EmPL.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/lr4EmPL.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/LkIbfni.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/LkIbfni.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
The Gellerpox have no conversion or modification, just say that I want to show they were member of some crew, so they wear all the same uniform, just dark and a bit dirty. The Poxwalker of course have been converted, trying to avoid two models alike some little changes as head swaps were made, but these ones are without any doubt the best models<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/5EothRS.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/5EothRS.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I should do a year resume? Don´t know, maybe.<br />
<br />
See you mates!Gonfraskhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00315312702818233161noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6731900678379596097.post-10077416220955245292018-12-02T14:48:00.003-08:002018-12-02T14:48:33.085-08:00The Eternal Project IIAnother update of this project.<br />
<br />
What I really love of this project, is the posibility to make models absoluly uniques, and in a Space Wolves army, si very easy to find an excuse to this, obviously the Characters, but the Wolf Guards...with their customized gear (to follow the Codex is really easy...when you are an Ultrasmurf)...the deserve to take your time with them, maube too much, because what was only "to make some cool models" become a project inside the project, and influenced by the novel Wolf Blade the first Wolf Guards were born<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/N8FvANp.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/N8FvANp.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
If you have read the novel (it´s not amazing, but amusing) William King show us some character that clearly are a hint to Warriors Three, from the Thor comics, and I had to make my own version of these. At the left you have my version of Volsstag, to make a "wider" upper body I used a terminator torso and green stuff to sculpt the belly armour, which copy shamelessly his cinematic version as do the axe but oversized. At the right, Fandral, a guy with style (in the novel, King just need to say he is tacky) made from an Eternal Stormcast because he already wear a nice master crafted armour, I turned the shoulder pads, give him a nice moustache and a rapier and some details. An in the center, Hogun, the only one is missing in the novel (in fact, his absence is the reason why there is a place in the Wolf Blades) and as in the comics he is not asgaardian, my version could not be fenrisian so...which are the best mongol-style Marines? Yesss! The White Scars, so I had to change a bit the style of the details and I´m waiting for the WS shoulder pad from the Deathwatch box to finish it.<br />
<br />
Let´s go with another model that is liking, a Wulfen, or a Wulfen leader<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/EB5Lc6n.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/EB5Lc6n.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Made from the WD free gift slaughterpriest, the model is really big, more than even a Primaris! In the Fenris campaign books say that a Wulfen Leader is much taller than a standar marine, so there wasn´t any more doubts. Just sculpt some muscles, the neck, details and here he is! Easy, is it no?<br />
<br />
And as I´m a bit crazy, also had to resculpt clasic models from the Second Edition Space Wolvs range<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/YOnZfMG.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/YOnZfMG.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Also "real scaling" the good Gregor Fellhand, is an amazing model and I want to use it in my new army.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/vRijfmH.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/vRijfmH.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Some people ask me if I would make Real Scale vehicules, so I show you...a Dreadnought!!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/DtASU87.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/DtASU87.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I know a lot of people like the "box with legs" but...come on people, in the lore always is said that they are "three times the height of a man" and even with the old metal models this happen. Is not as big as a Redemptor, but I think now looks much better.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/xe2ytGr.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/xe2ytGr.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/ZRK3FWS.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/ZRK3FWS.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
And this is all for now...I´m working in the tenth man of the Grey Hunter squad and another character. I hope to show you more models soonGonfraskhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00315312702818233161noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6731900678379596097.post-55328783813888149172018-11-15T08:33:00.000-08:002018-11-15T08:33:07.216-08:00The Eternal Project: Real Scale Space WolvesWell, motivated by <a href="https://oldschoolworkshop.blogspot.com/">Suber´s work</a>, I´m going to whow you what I call my "Eternal Project", redoing my Space Wolves army but his time Real Scale. I´m going to talk long about the history of this project and how I have to updated another thread, this could be a good self motivation way.<br />
<br />
Project I started years ago seeing (and drooling) the amazing works done by Master of The Forge (https://masteroftheforge.com/), Synapse and Doghouse (wich threads you can find in Warseer´s Hall of Heroes) and I have always updated soooooooooooooooooooo slowly that today I have completed just...the 0%. I have models assembles but absolutely nothing finished.<br />
<br />
At the time, I faced it as much of these projects, thinking about sculpting the models almost one model at time, and I decided to start with what would be one of the main element of my army, the fourth version of Gonfrask, Wolf Lord of just another Lost Company.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/GT3oEPY.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/GT3oEPY.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
To be just my first serious sculpt work isn´t too bad, the cloak was sculpted as Freakforge (I miss you mate, where the hell are you?) teach us once in one of his tutorials more than five years ago, and the head is from a model of Avatars of War. Today I would change some things...oh man...I´m starting again.<br />
<br />
But the truth was this advanced slowly and I left it a little aside, but never stop thinking about it. Then I started to make thing with silicone molds and resin copies of diverses things, and at this moment I said to my self "and waht about sculpt some torsos and legs to make some copies?". So I went for that idea, but bit a bit...and after some time I had the next <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/xIyyboG.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/xIyyboG.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/O8w1r1f.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/O8w1r1f.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
And some proofs of the molds (old pics)<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/6xSHMC9.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="480" height="320" src="https://i.imgur.com/6xSHMC9.jpg" width="192" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/PMYCNqM.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="480" data-original-width="800" height="192" src="https://i.imgur.com/PMYCNqM.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/IkFGTYf.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="480" data-original-width="800" height="192" src="https://i.imgur.com/IkFGTYf.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
This looks nice, now for sure I will go faster!<br />
...<br />
Lie!<br />
<br />
Still I have to work in the arms (a thing Master of the Forge does it look really easy) and this really is a one by one work, at least until a year ago the Primaris showed up, whose arms fit almost perfectly...but of course I wanted the arms to look diverse armour marks. For example, mi almost finished Grey Hunter squad have Mk VII torsos with MK IV arms, an MK IV helmet with a (insipired) MK III torso...<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/jS3b550.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/jS3b550.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
9 marines...I have notices TODAY! they aren´t 10...damn it, these are not even completed...<br />
<br />
Another squad on the way are the Blood Claws, as I told you before, my compressor broke so I have been with other things and made these 7 lads (well, two of the still need some details)<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/h8Jkpaq.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/h8Jkpaq.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Another 3 models and the pack would be done! Come on!!<br />
<br />
Well, this is a long post, so I will save some things to future updatesGonfraskhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00315312702818233161noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6731900678379596097.post-64442138841953516492018-10-22T05:05:00.002-07:002018-10-22T05:05:47.516-07:00[Comission] More EldarsHi pals.<br />
<br />
This time I bring you another Eldar Comission, maybe you have read <a href="http://laforjadegonfrask.blogspot.com/2015/10/40k-comission-repainting-eldar-armoured.html">this previous comission</a>, or maybe don´t (if don´t...go and read it!), but the same client ask me to paint part of his Eldar Wraith Host and here you have the finished models.<br />
<br />
* Wraith Seers: The FW kit, I think I have got a good "Eldar Seer" look with not only that kit, but also the plastic details from the Wraith Lord Sprue. This time a model has a heavy conversion and the other one don´t, just for no reason but "this would look nice" and well, one of the ideas needed to<br />
reposition legs and arms, and the other was able with the plastic bits.<br />
<br />
Let´s go with the pics, first, of course the conversion<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/mv47XFp.jpg?1" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="600" height="320" src="https://i.imgur.com/mv47XFp.jpg?1" width="240" /></a></div>

Two pics of the blade, with and without flash</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/f9iz8k6.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/f9iz8k6.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>

<br />
And a little "cast" effect in the helmet<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/fnLzR8h.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/fnLzR8h.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
And the second one<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/VjNdLgR.jpg?1" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="600" height="320" src="https://i.imgur.com/VjNdLgR.jpg?1" width="240" /></a></div>

<br />
Also, with a lighting effect in its helmet<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/RXeNE8K.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/RXeNE8K.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
* Wraith Lords: Both models have been converted, to look like bodyguards of the Wraithseers or the guardians of somekind of temple, this has no real rules of course, they were made this way just for the rule of cool<br />
This one is more like the Guardian<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/w3AzYdT.jpg?1" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="600" height="320" src="https://i.imgur.com/w3AzYdT.jpg?1" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/cEDXPuU.jpg?1" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="600" height="320" src="https://i.imgur.com/cEDXPuU.jpg?1" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/taqSSRf.jpg?1" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="600" height="320" src="https://i.imgur.com/taqSSRf.jpg?1" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
And this is maybe a little more agressive<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/Jesc8aD.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/Jesc8aD.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/pAJsoTc.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/pAJsoTc.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Is that all? No! Also I painted two Lynx, so they will fit properly with the rest of the armoured forces (that you can see in the link in the top...what? Do you not have seen it yet?)<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/QY8VSsR.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/QY8VSsR.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/AmNsVaW.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/AmNsVaW.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/kd8tMS7.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/kd8tMS7.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/TZt5wct.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/TZt5wct.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Well, the next update maybe is delayed even more because...I have no compressor! So all my paint projects and comissions are stoped...well, I will show you conversions thenGonfraskhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00315312702818233161noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6731900678379596097.post-2773651286917617862018-08-09T17:41:00.002-07:002018-08-09T17:41:26.103-07:00[40K] Death Guard Comission V, Part CWell, the last models of this batch, and we return to the Legion troops<br />
<br />
* Rhino: Second transport, but this time we left the corrupted ones and went for an original tank of the Legion, so it needs to be a Deimos Pattern. Of course ten thousand years under the hands of the Death Guard and the Warp have marked the transport, and some minor mutations have been made.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/e4uuZ0N.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/e4uuZ0N.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/1yzEjaw.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/1yzEjaw.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/a9sUg6y.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/a9sUg6y.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
I love to paint inside the transport, maybe it usually is hidden by the doors, but there are a lot of details there...and much more when you chaotized it!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/qnrEjiU.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/qnrEjiU.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/1dTQqX1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/1dTQqX1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
* Plague Surgeon: Another amazing model from the Death Guard range, I love how it mix technological details with tools for alchemical use. The model don´t bring a nurgling, so it needs one! A medic/nurse nurgling, always ready to help. And also I changed a bit the neck and made it longer (don´t know...he looks like he is missing some vertebrae or has scoliosis...)<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/24kSU3A.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="600" height="320" src="https://i.imgur.com/24kSU3A.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/sNucUgW.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="600" height="320" src="https://i.imgur.com/sNucUgW.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/5KlSSf0.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="600" height="320" src="https://i.imgur.com/5KlSSf0.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>

This time...drones!!! Maybe the favourite models of this new range, in fact the client like them so much that comissioned me not one, but three Plague drones! and the great Miphytic (I love this one too).<br />
<br />
* Plague Drones: From Dark Imperium, the new box and the old FW model with a little weapon swap<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/f6n3GPT.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/f6n3GPT.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Again you can see the dark red/mechanicum colour, and instead a pinky skin, I choose an "almost white tone", this would be a nice contrast with the dark colour<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/9QZeNbZ.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/9QZeNbZ.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/OfHgnCT.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/OfHgnCT.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Instead of lenses, I choose to paint eyes, big, conjunctivitis, and shiny eyes...<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/QlAlnjW.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/QlAlnjW.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/aC7xCtp.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/aC7xCtp.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/QerBMVn.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/QerBMVn.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
The plastic models have a trail of cords, and biomechanical things, so the correct thing would be to make also a trail of mucus<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/TvtpQlj.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/TvtpQlj.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/p6JFjfi.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/p6JFjfi.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
* Myphitic Blighthauler, such a great model, I like how it looks like a mole criket but also is almost identical to its flying cousins<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/8bOftQz.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/8bOftQz.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
In the base I made the mark that the tracks should left in the ground, I usually see models with a great paintjob, but miss this littl detail<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/a5eGkLL.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/a5eGkLL.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/1jE9ILK.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/1jE9ILK.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
The next week, back to more "legionesque" thingsGonfraskhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00315312702818233161noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6731900678379596097.post-22353290117852785832018-07-17T14:19:00.001-07:002018-07-17T14:19:53.822-07:00[40K] Death Guard Comission V, Part AHi again people! Seem I have missed some updates (or maybe I´m just delayed) but I have painted a good bunch of models for this month´s updates. Let´s star with a Plague Burst Crawler<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/CId9Pdf.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/CId9Pdf.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
As you can see, the model is a mix of Legion colours and dark red, why dark red? Well, because when my client and I talked about the colour scheme, thought that this would be a nice detail that would link the Death Guard with the Dark Mechanicum, who would probably make these beasts to Mortarion (I don´t see Techmarines in the Death Guard).<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/gGQ6mBx.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/gGQ6mBx.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
You can see the weapons are diferent in this pic, another model? No, just magnetized them, so can change and combine them as the army list needs<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/v0rGAUW.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/v0rGAUW.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
And well, a back pic to show the paint stripped, some weathering<br />
<br />
The next week, more models!Gonfraskhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00315312702818233161noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6731900678379596097.post-44735884739878623132018-05-01T07:28:00.001-07:002018-05-01T07:28:17.168-07:00Death Guard Comission IV, part CDamn, this post was suposed to be done yesterday, but I forget it...<br />
<br />
Another character, perhaps one of the best model of the Death Guard range, the Tallyman! When I saw it, I knew I had to paint one, and this comission was a perfect chance! I think that even his rules are cool (he is somekind of Dark Apostle, and can recover Comand Points), and again my girlfriend had a great idea, sugesting me that I could give the model one or two even "freaker" details with my paintjob, Can you find them?<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/E9wkdwK.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/E9wkdwK.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/2Nqn1Ey.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/2Nqn1Ey.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/55Z2OQD.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/55Z2OQD.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I´m going to change a little my next update, keep lookingGonfraskhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00315312702818233161noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6731900678379596097.post-6000776000281524992018-04-23T17:11:00.000-07:002018-04-23T17:11:23.564-07:00[40K] Death Guard Comission IV, part BThis week update, and how will go those melta gun to be in front of the enemy? Well, tha answer is easy...transport! My client is thinking he would like to have two Rhinos in the army, so be it. The first one is a corrupted loyal Rhino, made with a standar box and the upgrade kit from Wargames Exclusive...an amazing kit but also a nightmare...so many details! Sometimes I didn´t know what I was painting...flesh? fungus? deformed metal?<br />
Anyway, stop talking and more pics<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/PhVoT1T.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/PhVoT1T.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/COUCDvQ.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/COUCDvQ.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/Tegp7c0.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/Tegp7c0.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/nC3t02w.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/nC3t02w.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Why Salamander? Well, first of all, this client already has the Space Hulk Terminators converted by me to look like Salamanders, and in some way this is a hint to that comission. Also, the green is a good contrast to the white-bone of the army, is true that is not a "focus model" but this way would also look more special.<br />

I talked about a second Rhino, but is not even glued. That one will be an Heresy MK Rhino, and will have the Legion coloursGonfraskhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00315312702818233161noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6731900678379596097.post-58121734635545941962018-04-16T07:44:00.003-07:002018-04-16T07:44:55.890-07:00[40K] Death Guard Comission IV, part AI´m late, I´m late...I have finished these models the last week but didn´t take the pics until today, and just because I had to charge the camera, and couldn´t find the charger...anyway, here you have the last 9 Plague Marines for this army.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/ryjmpsj.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/ryjmpsj.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
The new box plus the amazing Champion<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/CdL4QBq.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/CdL4QBq.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Let´s take a look to the other models<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/Yfcoarb.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/Yfcoarb.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/EaitGHl.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/EaitGHl.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/ZKdoHQt.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/ZKdoHQt.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Wait...two relics? three special weapons? I have an explanation, and if you look at the backpacks you can see they are painted in two styles, white and metal, and this is because if I take the models from the Plague Brethen and the First Strike we have these squads<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/pNkO1jk.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/pNkO1jk.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/KbIB5eh.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/KbIB5eh.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
That´s all for now, but this weekend I would upload another unit.<br />
<br />
Cheers!Gonfraskhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00315312702818233161noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6731900678379596097.post-13979186538805900482018-02-27T13:18:00.001-08:002018-04-16T07:17:21.633-07:00[40k] Death Guard Comission III, part CLast week, the last one of this month updates. Another model with Terminator Armour...who could be? Lord Festus and the Easy to Build models? Not, they are four models and they are still waiting for a paintjob, A conversion? Not this time, but of course, I gave it my personal touch...<br />
<br />
Dear readers, I bring you...Typhus!!! (I showed you before, all of this is just make you lost your time...)<br />
<br />
Of course, no Death Guard army could be complete without this character (and a bunch of Poxwalkers, but they are too waiting), a fantastic model (with a lot of detractors) but still I have to do something, and as I showed before, Alex Boyd had done an amazing art years ago so I tried to honor it with a little reposition and a poor guardman.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/RFBvILf.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/RFBvILf.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/Js5OuB8.jpg?1" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="600" height="320" src="https://i.imgur.com/Js5OuB8.jpg?1" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/Kp2P6Li.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/Kp2P6Li.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/2GKob1y.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/2GKob1y.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
The demon flies are a nice touch, but I thing a little excesive, so I didn´t use all the bits, and then I painted it like if it was a swarm, more like smoke. I´m not happy with the result, but it looks really good<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/41BQY0L.jpg?1" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="600" height="320" src="https://i.imgur.com/41BQY0L.jpg?1" width="240" /></a></div>

<br />
Well, I hope to finish these models in later January, but...well, the friends, family, friends again...you know. But let´s go to our bussines, models!!!<br />
<br />
* Brightlord Terminators: Nice models, nice rules (I think), and again...conversions, but only two things:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/X13zX0t.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/X13zX0t.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Champion: I used a spared torso from the Deathshroud as well as a head (there are 4 heads left when you have done the three models), I also used the Plague Mayal, but I think the champion can´t choose this weapon...<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/IABp8Ry.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/IABp8Ry.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/9pnYFIB.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/9pnYFIB.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Brother Flyus: The bubotic axe of this model is handmade, in the box there are only 3 axes, but I think is much better weapon option for the squad<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/foFIgTz.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/foFIgTz.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/PaQcIZC.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/PaQcIZC.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Brother Ebolus: A weird model...he is spouting some kind of liquid, but what the hell it is? Well, blood was my choice and my girlfriend named him then. Also told me to paint the back tank like full of blood<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/veHX8YP.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/veHX8YP.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/OmX0QBK.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/OmX0QBK.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/JLc0jyK.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/JLc0jyK.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
The Human Lamprey, because I used the face with the, well, lamprey mouth<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/hw9vFnf.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/hw9vFnf.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/1O4jizJ.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/1O4jizJ.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/Yyf04st.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/Yyf04st.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
The Hollow, this models seems as I say, hollow, the broken armour is full of larvae and a nurgling! Not a hint of flesh, organs or other things...<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/MKRGgsw.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/MKRGgsw.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/9fOIb3G.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/9fOIb3G.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />

(and rest of the people)<br />
<br />
An update in January first, I hope this is a new custom and this year I post more, because that mean I have been working in more models.<br />
<br />
But let me show you the first HQ of this army, a Malignant Plaguecaster, and again...converted. This time I can´t hold myself, specially when I found that the Plague Marines box brings a...fly head!!! Yesss, a mutated fly head!! And GW doesn´t show it anywhere! What the heeeeeeeeeeeeell?!! Why?! I had a theme for the conversion then, and as I´m converting Typhus, I had some demons flies to use too. So, I give you the Lord of the Flies!!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
Again months missing but update! This time I´m going to show you the first part of a new comission, a whole Death Guard army. It´s been a while since a painted a Chaos model, and now I have a lot of models in my work desk (which curiosly is starting to age and rotten...maybe I need some Emperor´s Tears). These models are so great than I will not do many conversion (but you now me...there will be, of course there will be), but the client and I don´t like a "clasic green scheme" so we choose an the Great Crusada / Heresy colours, and a lot of dirt, drip and blood (well, not too much blood, this is not a Khorne army).<br />
<br />
Let´s see these first models:<br />
<br />
* Dark Imperium Plague Marines: Well, first conversion, but a little one! I swear! I changed the Champion´s head for a FW Iron Hands head, I like how it looks, and gives more cohesion to the squad, a little of green stuff here and there and done!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/ZHBZOwS.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/ZHBZOwS.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
You have a bionic eye and the other one is full of pustules? Worry not citizen, Papa Nurgle will give you a new one! But maybe not in the face...<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/Krhf9yg.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/Krhf9yg.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
The backpack is from the plague caster, the original backpack will be use in other model<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/mLqvmLT.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/mLqvmLT.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
A classic, two special weapons, again another conversion (I know, I know...), the plasma gun from the First Trike kit will make an amazing add-on to this squad. And also one of the heads.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/BQ6Rfj9.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/BQ6Rfj9.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
And the rest<br />

<br />
Well, let´s show you one of my last projects, the grav-rhinos! Yes, I´m a big fan of that idea since I saw it in the Ilustrated Guide of the Horus Heresy, in fact two years ago I made one model for a tournament, but I have to finish it to quickly because I didn´t manage my time correctly, but this year I had half and a month to made another and change some details od the previous one, and you know what? Yessss!!! Again I run out of time! What kind of magic is this?!!!<br />
<br />
Let´s stop crying and show you some pics<br />
<br />
<br />
First, the basic structure of the model, at the left you can see the model I made two years ago, but stripped from some details that I will remake<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/RrtZEJ9.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/RrtZEJ9.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
The front, I try to do a little homage to the SoB rhino from the 2nd edition, but keep in my style<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/nvcMIJa.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/nvcMIJa.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Working in the side details, the hatch, the exhaust pipes and details to break the flat surfaces<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/2acidvO.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="600" height="320" src="https://i.imgur.com/2acidvO.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
A view of the down side, you can see there is not much details, but I don´t think is a side of the model that will show very often</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/xUSzywx.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="600" height="320" src="https://i.imgur.com/xUSzywx.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Testing the "flying" bases"</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/13WkxbT.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/13WkxbT.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/qQl3bx8.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/qQl3bx8.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
At this moment, my girlfriend told me that I should make somekind of grav plates, like the Repulsor or the Land Speeder<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/Z9gS2ju.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/Z9gS2ju.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Another test, just to show that with this model I could play with Rhino or Inmolators....nice<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://i.imgur.com/LZHeoD1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://i.imgur.com/LZHeoD1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Well, this is all by now. Yes...I couldn´t paint them, so no "best painted" award for me...but well, I´m finding that now my army has a lot of movility, and that is no jokeGonfraskhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00315312702818233161noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6731900678379596097.post-52372488487941472902017-07-16T06:25:00.007-07:002017-07-16T06:27:47.057-07:00Comission for Bac Ninh MiniaturesHello pals! (if there is someone still there)<br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Well, today I bring you my first professional comission, and curiosly isn´t Fantasy or Sci-Fi, is historical!! José Carmena from Bac Ninh Miniatures was looking for a sculptor to make some changes in a few models, so they could look like the members of the <span style="background-color: white; text-align: justify;">White Tiger regiment, from the Boshin Wars. I wasn´t able to say not to this challenge and after some sessions of modeling (to make a correct hakama is not easy) and converting master-models, we had 8 bodies and 8 heads.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="background-color: white; text-align: justify;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="background-color: white; text-align: justify;">Here you can see them assembled:</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="background-color: white; text-align: justify;"><br /></span></span>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgrSs2Xv06F4ww17Z588CyyYUjLSA_1rg0fdHlxQ6BIrgQfnRoeOgy5gA7wAU0r7JPhDKpKHM3FtqzPeHq0CIb4YIBLEe1CQiD0RRphxN7EJgRPzMUEn-BIgW7OCLvjCnJ09C8kk5yWnGW2/s1600/BW-13+Byakkotai+firing+skirmishing+%25284%2529.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="391" data-original-width="851" height="147" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgrSs2Xv06F4ww17Z588CyyYUjLSA_1rg0fdHlxQ6BIrgQfnRoeOgy5gA7wAU0r7JPhDKpKHM3FtqzPeHq0CIb4YIBLEe1CQiD0RRphxN7EJgRPzMUEn-BIgW7OCLvjCnJ09C8kk5yWnGW2/s320/BW-13+Byakkotai+firing+skirmishing+%25284%2529.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihUkZ8M7-FqHaquCNPIte7Hm3f8MnMziHhj1c-T02qHLQr8hxAU8qS_bQe6sHnUo7ywB4Jobd90p9yMJBTUS8D7cDH5tKYvrccCIYiSx4rcyUjaTmYopwc95ZzVkXz8Rk4AgkAAorTJ82F/s1600/BW-14+Byakkotai+advancing+charging+%25284%2529.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="357" data-original-width="774" height="147" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihUkZ8M7-FqHaquCNPIte7Hm3f8MnMziHhj1c-T02qHLQr8hxAU8qS_bQe6sHnUo7ywB4Jobd90p9yMJBTUS8D7cDH5tKYvrccCIYiSx4rcyUjaTmYopwc95ZzVkXz8Rk4AgkAAorTJ82F/s320/BW-14+Byakkotai+advancing+charging+%25284%2529.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="background-color: white; text-align: justify;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="background-color: white; text-align: justify;">I really liked this comission, there are things that are good idea in fantasy models, but you can´t make in historical models (over dinamic clothes for example) so I learned a lot, and also document for the project (lookig for pics, watching videos to see how a hakama moves...) was very funny.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="background-color: white; text-align: justify;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="background-color: white; text-align: justify;">I don´t play historics wargames, althougt I would do it so I can use these models (I really fell in love with them), but also I think that In Her Majesty Name or Test of Honour would be perfect excuses to use them. So if you like them and are interested in getting them, you can find the packs here</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="background-color: white; text-align: justify;"><br /></span></span>

<br />
Another comission from my friend, his Grey Knight army is still growing and growing, and he wanted to add a Paladin squad now. But a very "overpowered unit", because although he wanted all the standard choices in this kind of squad (apothecary, banner, etc...) also wanted them all with daemonhammers (why not?!). A kit from Chapterhouse, some minor conversions and voilá!.<br />
<br />
For the paintjob, I keep the level from previous comission, but also made one or two OLS effects.<br />
<br />
Well, no more words, now the pics<br />

<br />
Bad pics, made with hurry because I forgot to photograph them before they were given to my client (again, a friend). They were converted to be more armoured, and with least exposed pilots. The hip was widened to make them look more correctly with the new cockpit. Well, here you have<br />
<br />

<br />
Do you have been maybe asking where the hell I was? Well, not dead of course. I have done some more comission and projects but never make any pic of them or upload a WIP post. This is of course all my fault, and don´t have any excuse (not a good one to be realistic) but this time I´m going to use the update of other blog to show you these models. An abusse? Maybe, but I´m spanish, and if someone do the job for you, don´t move a finger and just...smile<br />
<br />
* Max Sterling: You can see the pics here<br />
<br />
<a href="http://keyansark.blogspot.com.es/2017/02/robotech-rpg-tactics-max-sterling.html">http://keyansark.blogspot.com.es/2017/02/robotech-rpg-tactics-max-sterling.html</a><br />
<br />
And a little preview<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
* Miriya Sterling: As I see<br />
<br />
<a href="http://keyansark.blogspot.com.es/2017/02/robotech-rpg-tactics-miriya-sterling.html">http://keyansark.blogspot.com.es/2017/02/robotech-rpg-tactics-miriya-sterling.html</a><br />
<br />
Aaaaan...<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://farm1.staticflickr.com/598/32599484142_457aa71a05_o_d.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://farm1.staticflickr.com/598/32599484142_457aa71a05_o_d.jpg" width="272" /></a></div>
<br />
Also check my friend/cliente blog, is full of oldschool post and models. I´m sure you will like it, but remember, is in spanish language<br />
<br />
What I´m doing now? Well, I have a Grey Knights Paladin Squad on my desk, also the Sister of Silence, Custodes and new models for my Sister of battle Army are marching over my table work, beating all other previous project I had...I hope to have a good year.<br />
<br />
Thank you for watching!Gonfraskhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00315312702818233161noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6731900678379596097.post-45650825602546840372016-07-03T07:11:00.001-07:002016-07-03T07:11:10.560-07:00[Comission] Robotech, more Zentraedi PodsHello mates!<br />
